    1. x+ 1/x=rt 3 squaring on both side we get x^2 +1/x^2 =1 ......... now let us assume x as A and 1/x as B then A^3 +B^3 = (A+B)(A^2 -AB +B^2) .......... we know the value of A+B =rt 3 and also value of A^2 +B^2 =1 and value of AB=1 putting all the value we get

      (rt3) (1-1) =0

  5. Q-8.... x^2+y^2 -2x +6y +10=0........ this can be written as x^2 -2x +1 +y^2 +6y +9=0........

    = (x-1)^2 + (y+3)^2=0 this condition only satisfy when (x-1)=0 and (y+3)=0 from this we can get the value of x and y i.e x=1 and y=-3 ...

    now put the value of x and y in x^2 + Y^2 = 1+9+10
