      so x=125

      So decrease in y=25/125*100=20%

  3. 2) suppose there are 100 students in class...we have n(A)+n(B)-n(AnB)
    ie..80+85-73=92
    so stdnts passd in both subjt is 92
    so 100-92=8 students fails in both subjt..

  6. Qn 5) for these type of questions we shud knw that ....ie..if price increases then expenditure decreases..ie
    here price increses by 50% ..initially we assume that we have 100% then new price 150
    so we have to reduce expenditure from 150 to original 100
    ie..net change..50
    so ..part 50/150=1/3...thanks

  8. 6) there is 20% decrease so 20% of 36 is 7.2.
    In 7.2rs he is getting 500gms. In 36rs he will get 500/7.2*36=2500gms=2.5kg.
    It means he was getting 2 kg before, so ans is 18.

      =(20/80)*36/1/2=>18

    Questions 2.
    Contact value 500 gram
    Increase in amount = 1/4
    It means that
    1/4=500 gram
    So total quantity is 2000 gram or 2 kg
    Original value formula
    Constant value /total quantity
    36/2= 18 per kg
